The staff at Eastern Eye Centre are dedicated to continually providing a professional and friendly service not only to our patients but also for referring practitioners and associated specialists

Our staff consists of three specialist ophthalmologists, two dedicated orthoptists, skilled in assessing vision and eye movements and a team of friendly reception staff.

Your consultation may take up to 2 hours. During this time you will be assessed by one of our orthoptists prior to seeing one of our specialist Ophthalmologists. You may require drops to dilate your eyes as part of a comprehensive examination. Please note if your eyes are dilated with drops you may not be able to drive for several hours afterward.

Eastern eye centre is conveniently located in the gallery level above the Pacific Square shopping centre, Maroubra Junction.

Parking

Access to the car park is from Boyce Road and Maroubra Road. Free parking (up to 2 hours) is available in Pacific Square shopping centre carpark.

A 21st Century Practice

We endeavor to incorporate new technology into our practice, always striving to enhance clinical care without compromising personal interaction with our patients. We run a paperless office, with all files stored securely in electronic format. Photographs and results of investigations are also stored electronically. We are able to send and receive referrals and reports electronically (encrypted). This allows enhanced rapid communication in a reliable, secure and confidential manner. 

Eastern Eye Centre is equipped with the latest technology for the diagnosis and investigation of eye conditions. This includes advanced ocular assessment to optimize cataract surgery results.
