General Postoperative Care
As you have had sedation do NOT:
- Drive a car
|
- Make important decisions
|
- Drink alcohol
|
- Use machinery
|
- Travel alone
|
- Lift heavy objects
|
As you have just had surgery you should expect:
- Bruising
|
- Swelling
|
- Irritation
|
- Spotting of blood*
|
- Do NOT swim for 1 week
|

* if bleeding becomes excessive please do not hesitate to call the Doctor or EEC
Swimming, heavy lifting, contact sports and bending at the waist is NOT recommended. Avoid any strenuous activity.
